The FIJI Water Foundation was “delighted” to renew its Platinum Sponsorship of Leadership Fiji for the third year in a row during today’s group session with the Minister for Health.
FIJI Water Foundation Manager Marie Smith says the annual sponsorship of $45,000 supports Leadership Fiji in mentoring and nurturing Fiji’s next generation of leaders through progressive leadership training.
“Leadership is important in any organisation and we are glad to be part of a unique program where emerging leaders learn to manage the demands of a rapidly evolving business world. Investing in our future leaders also helps Fiji achieve its full potential,” said Marie Smith.
The Leadership Fiji Program allows members to explore their own values, philosophies, prejudices and beliefs through a variety of issues offered by the program and also offers direct interaction with current leaders across the private sector, civil society and Government.
Leadership Fiji Chairman William Parkinson says the FIJI Water Foundation’s generosity in continuing to support them will have far reaching impacts on future leaders.
“In previous years, they have also supported Leadership Fiji graduates to be part of the prestigious Aspen Institute in Colorado to network with global leadership professionals,” he said.
He adds the overwhelming support by the Foundation is always appreciated as Leadership Fiji now enters two decades since its establishment.
Today’s sponsorship cheque was presented by Foundation Manager Marie Smith to Leadership Fiji Chairman William Parkinson, also in the presence of Leadership Fiji Chief Executive Officer Sharyne Fong.
