Today we witnessed AVI Pacific Peoples General Manager, Thelma Taria who is also an Alumni of our Leadership Fiji 2003 program sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Leadership Fiji’s Chief Executive Officer, Sharyne Fong.
AVI Pacific People is a Pacific-wide specialised end-to-end recruitment and business advisory service based in Suva, Fiji that works with clients across all sectors to implement organisation development and talent management
initiatives and develop robust business plans that will deliver sustainable business results.
AVI Pacific has been a partner of Leadership Fiji since June 2019 and have today renewed their partnership for a further 3 years. This MoU was signed by Ms. Taria and Ms. Fong with the expectation that this partnership will continue to strengthen the existing relationship and to help in developing and enhancing the quality of leaders in Fiji.
In signing this Memorandum, Ms. Taria said “We are pleased to support Leadership Fiji (LF) because the LF program has produced a cadre of talented leaders that we can tap into, when recruiting for senior management
and specialist roles across the Pacific”.
Leadership Fiji’s CEO, Ms. Fong said while signing the Memorandum “that we appreciate the support given by AVI Pacific People and hope this mutual understanding will benefit both organisations.”
The Leadership Fiji Program allows participants to explore their own values, philosophies, prejudices, and beliefs through a variety of issues offered by the program and offers direct interaction with current leaders across the private sector, civil society, and Government.
Its strategic vision is to establish a Leadership Academy for Fiji and the Pacific and to expand its offering of leadership programs from its current children’s program to across all levels of society.
