The iTaukei Trust Fund Boards Chief Executive Officer Aisake Taito has entered a new partnership with Leadership Fiji today by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Leadership Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Sharyne Fong.

This partnership reflects Leadership Fiji’s desire to collaborate with those that share our vision to develop and enhance the quality of leaders in Fiji.

The iTaukei Trust Fund Board (TTFB) an entity established in 2004, mainly to impact and advance the standards of living of iTaukei and Rotuman’s through a better and more effective use of their natural resources; and to conserve their cultures, traditions, norms, languages and values, for the generations to come.

In signing this Memorandum, Mr. Taito said “we are delighted to partner with Leadership Fiji, an established entity which promotes amongst other things, good governance and advocates for good corporate leadership qualities, skills and knowledge. TTFB through this MOU hopes to draw from the corporate lessons learnt over the years under the Leadership Fiji banner and apply it across our stakeholder engagements, be in women in the rural sector, be it our teams transferring knowledge and training to villages and communities or be it ways to enhance traditional leadership values. We look forward to a mutually successful partnership”.”.

Leadership Fiji’s CEO, Ms. Fong said while signing the Memorandum “we value the support that is going to be given by the iTaukei Trust Fund Board and this is an exciting partnership for our organization. We hope that this new partnership will also attract more people from the iTaukei Trust Fund Board (TTFB) to apply for the Leadership Fiji Program.”

As an outcome of this partnership Leadership Fiji will now have access to the iTaukei Trust Fund Complex Members Lounge to host their Leadership Fiji 2022 Program Sessions.
