Westpac Fiji has reaffirmed its commitment to leadership development in Fiji by renewing its partnership with Leadership Fiji for another three years.
Leadership Fiji is grateful to Westpac Fiji for its unwavering support and belief in their vision to develop and enhance the quality of leaders in Fiji.
Westpac Fiji believes in the power of leadership and community growth. Through its partnership with Leadership Fiji, Westpac Fiji continues to invest in initiatives that shape the next generation of leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to drive change in Fiji’s social and economic landscape.
Westpac Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Shane Smith, said “Westpac has proudly supported the Leadership Fiji program for a number of years now, reinforcing our deep commitment to developing strong leaders in Fiji. Education and leadership, particularly in financial literacy, are at the heart of what we do in the community. Leadership Fiji is an independent, non-partisan, non-aligned entity that has been in operation for 24 years, with 592 Alumni. Leadership Fiji has evolved over the years, with a strategic vision to establish a Leadership Centre for Fiji and the Pacific and to expand its offering of leadership programs across all levels of society. This vision took a significant step forward in 2024 with the launch of the inaugural Executive Leadership Program, further strengthening Leadership Fiji’s commitment to developing leaders at every stage of their journey.

The Leadership Fiji Program is aimed specifically at assisting our leaders to cope with demands of the ever-changing world so that Fiji reaches its full potential. Our annual core program brings together 30 emerging leaders from across the country.
Leadership Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Sharyne Fong, expressed her gratitude, stating that “Westpac’s commitment and support to Leadership Fiji highlights the vital role they play in fostering leadership and strengthening nation-building efforts.”
She further emphasized that “such collaborations are vital in fortifying leadership capacity and ensuring inclusive progress for Fiji’s future in driving meaningful social and economic change.”
Leadership Fiji welcomes Westpac Fiji’s continued support and looks forward to another three years of collaboration, and empowering individuals to lead with purpose and impact.
