In all the 22 years of Leadership Fiji’s existence, the RB Patel Group Limited is the first supermarket chain
to sign up as a partner.
RB Patel Group Limited is the only supermarket chain in Fiji that is publicly listed on the South Pacific
Stock Exchange. RB Patel Group has a diversified business portfolio and is involved in supermarket,
department store, distributors, importers, exporters, wholesalers, cinema and property development.
The RB Patel Group Limited Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Deepak Rathod said “RB Patel Group Ltd is
delighted to assist in the development of future leaders for Fiji. Fiji needs the youth of today to prepare
for the many leadership roles that this country needs to move forward. This is not only in our field of
commerce, but also in government as well as the many social responsibility roles.”

Leadership Fiji is an independent, non-partisan, non-aligned entity that has been in existence since 2001,
allows its participants to explore their own values, philosophies, prejudices, and beliefs through a variety
of issues offered by the program and offers direct interaction with current leaders across the private
sector, civil society, and Government. Leadership Fiji has evolved over the years to now include primary
and secondary school student leaders’ leadership and communication programs.
Leadership Fiji’s strategic vision is to establish a Leadership Academy for Fiji and the Pacific and to expand
its offering of leadership programs across all levels of society.
